Apart from being able to secure our releases on limited edition exclusive colour vinyl, or get in early with our CD releases, and have access to everything we release as a lossless digital download taking out a Reckless Yes membership means you’ll be supporting this independent label to support independent artists.
We’re an ethical label working collaboratively with our artists, in a way which sees them keep hold of all their rights and have creative control over how their music is shared. Our subscriptions means we can offset the costs of releases and our artists make more money faster than in a traditional deal - while keeping ownership and creative control of their art. This has never been more important than in current times.
The way we work is at odds with the way most of the music industry runs - where costs are high due to large teams and the artist rarely sees a return on their release. We offer a different way and for artists who want to remain somewhat independent helps to manage their risk and the investment needed to create music.
At a time where there is more music than ever released but it’s harder for artists to make money we believe membership is a way to show support in a practical way.
We are music fans too
We're music fans - just like you - here at Reckless Yes and so while we're helping our artists we're also creating the sort of music products and experiences we would love as fans.
Whether that is coloured vinyl, or cute CD packaging, whether it's keeping some tracks from releases as exclusive to Bandcamp and membership downloads, or it's member exclusive live streams from our artists - we want to give you something more for the money you're investing in us and our artists.
Our roster
We have a diverse roster of artists and sounds for you at Reckless Yes - from experimental soundscapes, to melodic pop, and musicians who have only just started out as well as those well established in their careers.
Our roster includes Fightmilk, Chorusgirl, Mark Morriss (of The Bluetones), LIINES, Eilis Frawley and many more. Plus we're still growing - 2021 will see at least half of our releases come from artists we've yet to make public on our roster!

Previous releases
We first offered a membership in 2020 and members in that year received 4 vinyl LPs (Bugeye on exclusive colour vinyl, Order of the Toad, Duck, and Fightmilk) plus a limited colourway 7", CD releases from Captain Handsome, Eilis Frawley, and GodNo! as well as digital releases of all of these plus a few extras.
But we began in 2016 and have always specialised in limited run releases. We've put out two 7" singles prior to 2020 (Bivouac and LIINES), both of which have sold out. Plus 12" colour vinyl LPs by Mark Morriss, LIINES, Chorusgirl, Fightmilk, Grawl!x, Pet Crow, and Unqualified Nurse Band. We've also put EPs and albums out on CD by Japan Review, Panic Pocket, and Turkish Delight. And we sometimes do digital only releases - we've worked with Mower, You Want Fox, Eilis Frawley, and Captain Handsome on these as well as a co-release with Komponist for Peace Tape.
We're big fans of working collaboratively and in 2020 offered a joint membership with Last Night From Glasgow, and co-released music with Hell Hath No Fury Records and Gringo Records.
